Every time someone asks me if I would choose brownies or cookies… I spend the rest of the day contemplating it. There are just so many good qualities to brownies and cookies. That is where these wonderful creations come in. I combined two of my favorite things (brownies and cookies) to make these healthy chocolate chip brookies. This recipe is dairy free and refined sugar free. It can also be made gluten free or vegan with a few simple substitutions (substitutions are below).
These brookies turned out absolutely amazing. They are incredibly chocolaty and fudgy. There is literally nothing better than eating a brookie fresh out of the oven when the chocolate chips are still melty. I was craving chocolate all day today and this was the perfect way to satisfy my craving. You guys are going to love these brookies. Make sure to comment below and let me know how you like them!

substitutions
Keep in mind that substituting ingredients may affect the flavor, texture, and bake time. With that said, here are my suggestions:
- eggs- replace with flax or chia eggs
- coconut oil- replace with ghee, butter, or vegan butter
- coconut sugar- replace with brown sugar
- all purpose flour- replace with 1:1 gluten free flour
- chocolate chips- use dairy free chocolate chips to make dairy free/vegan
