1 cup smooth peanut butter
11 oz butterscotch chips
4 cups chow mein noodles
1 cup roasted peanuts (optional)
Instructions
Melt the Peanut Butter and Butterscotch:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and butterscotch chips. Microwave in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted. Mix the Noodles and Peanuts:
Gently fold the chow mein noodles and roasted peanuts (if using) into the peanut butter and butterscotch mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated. Form the Haystacks:
Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture and drop them onto wax paper or parchment paper. Allow them to cool and set at room temperature.
