Ingredients
2 beef patties (80/20 or 70/30 lean-to-fat ratio works best for juiciness)
6 slices of bacon (crispy perfection!)
2 slices of American cheese
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon relish
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
2 lettuce leaves
2 tomato slices
2 pickle slices
2 sesame seed buns or sourdough bread
Instructions
Step 1:
Preheat a griddle or grill to medium-high heat.
Step 2:
Cook the bacon until crispy, then set it aside on a paper towel to drain.
Step 3:
Form the beef patties and place them on the hot griddle or grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
Step 4:
While the patties are cooking, toast the buns on the griddle or grill for a minute or two until lightly golden.
Step 5:
Assemble the burger:
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun.
Add a cooked beef patty.
Top with crispy bacon slices and a slice of American cheese.
Add lettuce, tomato, and pickle slices.
Drizzle with ketchup, relish, and mustard.
Place the top bun on the burger.
Step 6:
Serve the burger warm with your favorite sides (fries, anyone?) and enjoy this juicy, cheesy masterpiece!
