I recently got home from the Dominican Republic and one of my favorite things about the trip was my breakfast in the morning. Every morning I got scrambled eggs with fruit, and bread with pineapple papaya marmalade. It was absolutely amazing. The bread was cut into super thick pieces and it was soooo fluffy and fresh. That is where the inspiration for this bread came from. I wanted something simple, slightly buttery, and super fluffy and this recipe turned out exactly how I hoped it would. It really is the fluffiest white bread. This is probably my new favorite bread recipe (and I have made a lot of bread recipes).
This bread pairs perfectly with literally anything but my favorite way to eat it is with jam on the side of my eggs and fruit in the morning. Don’t be intimidated by how amazing and fancy this bread looks. It is super simple and easy to make. As long as you follow the steps, it will turn out so good. I am so excited for you to try out this bread. Make sure to comment below and let me know how you like it!

ingredients in the fluffiest white bread
- milk of choice (regular milk or oat milk works best)
- honey
- active dry yeast
- unbleached bread flour
- salt
- egg
- butter

how to make the fluffiest white bread
mix the warm milk, honey, and yeast. let sit 5 mins, it should foam.
in the bowl of a stand mixer, add the flour, salt, egg, softened butter, and yeast mixture. mix with a dough hook until fully combined and a dough ball forms. it is okay if the dough is a little sticky. if it is too sticky, add a little more flour.
transfer the dough ball to a greased bowl, cover, and let sit in a warm place for 1 hour or until the dough doubles in size.
transfer the dough to a floured surface and separate and form into 8 balls. transfer the balls to a greased loaf pan (lined up with 4 on each size).
cover the pan and let sit 20 minutes.
preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
bake for 28-32 minutes. slice and enjoy!

recipe notes
Milks with a little bit of fat (oat milk or dairy milk) work best in this recipe because they help make the bread more fluffy. I do not recommend using almond milk, cashew milk, or coconut milk.
You can make this recipe without a stand mixer. Just knead the dough with your hands until it comes together to form a dough ball.
