I am perhaps among the worlds largest iced latte fans…they are just so creamy and delicious. But, I am a coffee snob… there, I said it. I think Starbucks coffee is not good and is way over rated. I have worked very hard to get the perfect espresso shots, milk to espresso ratio, and salted caramel iced latte recipe. This one is just right, you have to try it!!!
Ingredients in the Salted Caramel Iced Latte
- 2 shots of espresso (or 8 oz of your favorite cold brew)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
How to make it
Start by making the salted caramel sauce. In a pot on the stove, bring the almond milk to a boil and stir in the coconut sugar, vanilla, and salt. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently.
In a blender, blend the milk with 1-2 tbsp of the salted caramel sauce.
Pour the salted caramel milk blend and the espresso or cold brew over ice and voila!
